Emily Pulled her feeding tube out!

Saturday July 25th at Lily, Alec and Ava's Birthday birthday at the Brennan home Emily pulled her feeding tube out. WAIT.. her daddy and great grandma did. (tube got stuck in the couch cushion) NO TUBE NO FOOD. Took her to childrens next day to replace it. To our surprise her Glucose dropped to 16. (normal is 70-120). She was hospitalized. She stayed in the hospital from Sunday to Thursday. Do to that event she is now schedule to have surgery for a Nissen fundoplication. This procedure is to take the top of the stomach and wrap it around the esophagus to tighten so she can get fed into her stomach in what we call bolus feds. This will teach her body to go with out food over periods of time. Surgery date is September 30th at 7:30am Childrens Mlps.
First night in the hospital. We are pooped.

2 days later. Emily was protesting to leave.

I am a Chameleons. Maybe if I blend into the blanket they will not find me.

I'm Cute!

Shari's Scrapbooking vacation

Shari took a week vacation up to Tomahawk Wisconsin. It is about 45 minutes north of Wausau. I went with my sister Sheila and her 2 sister-in-laws Kayla and Rose. (can't forget Cutie Pie Noah - Kayla's son). We went scrap booking. YEP Scrapin ONLY for one week! Day in and Day out. They had a clock in the cabin with every hour a different bird chirped. By the end of the week we didn't say the time of day instead it was quarter to the woodpecker. (I think we were inside too long). I felt I got a lot done. I worked on the girls books. SO I Have all there birthday's and christmas's done. I also got our building of our home done. TOTAL 98 pages.Cabin was Rose Lendt's Friend. It was beautiful. Water was clear.

True personality of my kids and animals

Between all four I am not sure where to start. Yesterday I was home with Emily by myself. I had to get some laundry started so I left her in the kitchen by herself on top of the blanket. When I came back she was wrapped up in a burrito (too cute)

Brianna........oh Brianna....... Yesterday the Kids Xcel Center had family fun day. They had a lot of neat things. clowns, minnow races, petting zoo, face painting. Brianna got her face painted. Oh does it fit her personality.

This morning I woke up and let the Sam and Ned outside. After a couple of hours I went to look outside and here they are having a picnic. Those two are two peas in a pod. My dog thinks he is a cat and my cat thinks he is a dog.

Most people would say that I deserve to have animals and kids like this. LOL!

Nascar and Chicago

Craig call me on Wednesday afternoon and said "do you want to go to NASCAR?" in 2 hours we got things arranged with the kids and plans were set. Never thought that it would happen. We had planned to go to the Chicago races several months ago with Craigs family. Things fell through and we canceled everything.

The Chicagoland stadium can hold 75,000 people. We were able to get a hotel only 12 miles away.

We took off Friday morning for the Nationwide series at 7pm. On Saturday morning we headed into the big city of Chicago. Did a boat tour on the river going through Chicago. It is really a neat city. Wish we had more time. That afternoon we headed back to the races. The sprint cup started at 7pm.

We came back home Sunday. The girls missed us dearly. BIG HUGS. Brianna was looking forward to her little digger shirt we promised to get her.

OH>>>>> while we were gone Brianna strikes once again. She climb Emily changing table to pull out one of the medical scissors and gave her doll a trim. Leave it up to Brianna. What are we going to do with her.

4th OF JULY

Happy 4th of July!
We enjoyed our day with a small get together at our house. Grill out and had a little fire works show. Megan's boyfriend Nathan and his brother Richard plan the event all out. This would be the 2nd annual. Even the babies got to come - Chloe and Ashlyn!

Brianna and a sparkler!*!

This little cycle was Keith and Craig's growing up. They put a ton of miles on it. Keith and Craig turned into a kid again once they took this out. Both Brianna and Jared got rides.

Keith and Jared!
